A collective adventure on fast spinning wheels!

Sunday October 23rd, the Norwegian charity event TV-aksjonen is being arranged. This year, the event is dedicated to Doctors Without Borders. This year, foodora wanted to contribute and we’ve initiated several initiatives to spread awareness and collect money to the cause:

First and foremost we wanted to spread awareness about TV-aksjonen during W42 to our customer base. We’ve therefore decided to include flyers about the event in orders from a few foodora markets.

We have given TV-aksjonen free ad spots for W41 and W42. By doing this, our customers get an opportunity to donate through our app, since the ad is popping up right after payment is done.

Also, we wanted to include our employees in this event. That’s why, on Wednesday we arranged a flea market in our office, where we sold items, clothes, shoes, accessories and other things, donated by the office employees. Combined with waffles, snacks, lottery tickets and nice prices, this was a lot of fun, especially since it all was for a great cause! #collective

Our ambitious goal was to collect 15 000 NOK, as of today we have collected roughly around 12 000 NOK, which we consider a success!
